Fiat's Forthcoming Mini-Electric Vehicle: Topolino
Fiat's forthcoming mini-electric vehicle, named 'Topolino,' has created a lot of excitement online due to its unconventional features. Designed to contend with models like the Chery QQ EV, Wuling Mini EV, and Citroen Ami, the Topolino will originally be available simply in Italy, priced at $10,739 (roughly Rs. 2.97 million).
The EV will come with a 5.5 kWh battery, providing a range of 75 kilometers and a charging time of four hours. Stellantis, the parent company of Fiat, has mentioned a unique feature called the "little shower," which is intended for sunny days spent on the Italian seacoast.
In addition to its uniqueness, the vehicle will include other peculiar elements such as USB suckers, Bluetooth speakers, warm water bottles, and sand kerchief seat covers. Stellantis has also revealed that the Topolino will be offered in two styles: a restricted interpretation and an open interpretation with rope-like doors. Interestingly, the vehicle will have only one color, interior, and wheel design option.
With a top speed limited to 45 km/h, Fiat is selling the Topolino as a 'quadricycle,' probably due to its limited performance capabilities. Due to its distinctive characteristics, the Fiat Topolino is anticipated to primarily attract a niche market of novelty product enthusiasts, especially within Italy.
