Pakistani Fast Bowler Haris Rauf's Wedding and Classic Buses
Pakistani fast bowler Haris Rauf got married this weekend, and prints of his mehndi, Qawwali night, and Walima are going viral on social media. A couple of days ago, his video of making an entrance on a steed and also on a heavy bike was the talk of the city. And now his entrances on his Qawwali night and Walima on two classic buses are widely shared on different social media platforms.
In different photos, you can see the quaint buses, indicating that the fast bowler loves a touch of history. The first car seen at his marriage functions is causing speculation about its make and model. The initial guesses were Rolls Royce Phantom II or Phantom I, but the side of the car showed it's relatively lower than the Phantom. The guessing game continued, and someone also said it was a classic Jaguar, but no one was sure about it. Eventually, an agreement was reached that it was an MG TD, which was in production from 1936 to 1955. What do you think? Which car is this? Share your thoughts in the comments section.
As for the Walima car, it was an easy guess because the car has a company emblem, make, and model. The name mentioned on the car was Mercedes 200 D Maybach, but according to our experts, it isn't Maybach; rather, it's a Mercedes Fintail 1966 model. Did you notice anything intriguing apart from the car? Take a look. Did you find it? Yes, it's the number plate reading "150 km/h," referencing one of the fastest balls bowled by Rauf. It seems that the bowler went all the way for his wedding and even got a customized number plate for the occasion. Good on him.
