Hyundai Pakistan Launches Tucson Base Variant
Hyundai Pakistan has finally launched the base variant of the Hyundai Tucson with a price label of Rs. [Price]. The launch was anticipated for the past couple of months, and our reliable sources had informed us that the company had assembled the car and would reveal it in June 2023. However, the launch has been delayed by one month for unknown reasons.
As we had previously mentioned, the new base variant, called GLS, comes with fewer specifications and features compared to its GLS Sport (FWD) and Ultimate (AWD) counterparts. Let's take a look at the options that are not offered in the Hyundai Tucson base variant:

All in all, it is a base variant with relatively similar specs and features to the Sportage Alpha. Now, it's up to consumers to decide whether they consider this variant worth the price. However, it has not gained significant traction among consumers, although the Sportage is the most successful car for Kia Pakistan. So, it would be a tough task for the Hyundai Tucson base variant to win the attention of auto enthusiasts.
